Randy [RJ] Jacobs, CEO and Principal

Former V.P./GM of Quad City office for  Charleston|Orwig Inc., Milwaukee area marketing communications company. Jacobs established the Quad Cities C|O office in April of 2003. The office quickly established itself as a top provider of award winning creative capturing the Best of Show from the QC Ad Fed three times since 2004. In addition the firm gained numerous regional and national awards for its Trinity Regional Health System, Orthopaedic Specialists, American Bank and KONE efforts. Jacobs was previously with Cedar Rapids based marketing communications firm  HenryRussellBruce, serving as President from 1998-2002.

Jacobs has focused on winning strategies for client work in both the business arena as well as in his political work. A graduate of Augustana College in History and Sociology, Jacobs has done graduate work in education at Claremont Graduate School  as well as graduate  courses in the MBA program at Iowa and numerous American Marketing and Society of Strategic Healthcare Marketing seminars. 

Ted Thoms, COO and Principal

Former V.P. Marketing and an owner of Thoms Proestler Company, now a division of Performance Food Group, a leading national foodservice distribution company.  While an owner of Thoms Proestler Company, Ted was responsible for all marketing efforts which included the design, development, and implementation of the company’s first online commerce system and virtual warehouses system.

Prior to joining Thoms Proestler Company, Ted worked for the Principal Financial Group first as a Market Research Analyst.  Ted quickly moved into managing projects from the company’s first website to automating their entire group and pension sales force.
Ted received his degree from Drake University in Economics and Marketing.
